West Ham United could sell Andriy Yarmolenko in order to help fund their January spending, as reported by Football Insider.
What’s the story?
The Hammers are said to be willing to consider offers for the 30-year-old, who is rated at £13.5m on Transfermarkt, with it being added that they are open to offers below the fee paid for him in the summer of 2018.
Players such as Carlos Sanchez and Jack Wilshere are also supposedly up for sale, but having curated an extensive list of targets across four positions, West Ham need to sell somebody who is worth more in order to fulfil their wishes.

It is suggested that the Hammers will still be able to get a sizeable fee for the Ukraine international due to his pedigree.

Ending the frustration
There have been glimpses of quality from Yarmolenko during his time in claret and blue, such as his brace against Everton and his finish against Manchester United this term.
However, there has also been plenty of frustration for the 30-year-old, as he missed the majority of last season with an Achilles tendon rupture.
In addition, he has even struggled to get into the team this campaign, as embodied by the fact that he has not started any of the last four games and didn’t even make the bench against Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Did he really play for us?! No West Ham fan has managed to name all of these obscure Irons signings….
While the Hammers could hold on to him and hope for more of the quality moments that he has provided in their colours, by selling the winger, it could give him the opportunity to end the frustrations suffered in East London.
He will also be looking to get as much game time as possible, ready for the 2020 European Championships, in which he will be hoping to lead Ukraine against Netherlands and Austria.
In other news, West Ham face competition from Bayern Munich to get one of their transfer targets.
