Nikola Katic was on cloud nine after starring in Plymouth's shock FA Cup win over Premier League leaders Liverpool.

Ryan Hardie scored the only goal of the game from the penalty spot in the 53rd minute as the Championship side knocked out Premier League giants Liverpool from the FA Cup fourth round. While Hardie scored the all-important goal, it was centre-back Nikola Katic who was the star of the show. The Bosnian defender lost a tooth after a collision with team-mate Adam Randell but stayed on after receiving medical treatment in the 17th minute. Katic, however, was soon back on his feet and played an important role in his team keeping a clean sheet.

Speaking to after the match, the centre-back said: "I f*cking love it. This is why I came here. It is good to get confidence of this win. We did good with the defensive structure and everybody gave their 100%. We did what the coach asked from us. That is it."

Katic also opened up on his relationship with Plymouth's star goalkeeper Conor Hazard as he revealed he did not like the custodian at first due to his past association with Celtic. He added: "First when I came here, I hated him because he was a Celtic guy and I am a Rangers man. But I love him now."
